Gran Ma's Apple Dumplings is sweet, full of spice, doughy, and packed with soft ripe apples. This scent reminds us of our days growing up during the fall and Gran Ma was in the kitchen mixing and rolling out sweet dough, adding that cinnamon brown butter spread, all while the apples were being sliced and waiting to be added for the final touch before baking. Once in the oven the whole house smelled of sweet sugary apples baking in flaky warm dough.
